As I finish my 6th week and as the internship starts to come to close, I feel so appreciative of this opportunity to learn so much through hands-on experiences. This week I learned about the grant process and that some grant systems require a letter of interest in order to be invited to apply. Furthermore I also gained knowledge on how to manage and balance client expectations. Through creating spreadsheets, I continued to learn the importance of staying organized from the start in order to run a successful non-profit. Finally, I continued to gain insight about how a giving society works through learning about corporate partner programs. I cannot believe that it is my 6th week, but I'm so grateful of this internship which has given me a wealth of new knowledge and new perspectives.
